GOS- GOF Plummer Block Housings Series for oil lubrication
The plummr block housings series GOS/GOF are housings for high speeds and/or temperatures. These housings are equipped with oil splash ring lubrication and mainly used in fan assemblies.
GOS/GOF plummer block housings are manufactured from Grey Cast Iron GG25. Housings from GGG40 or GS45 are also avaiable. The oil splash ring is made from steel.
The sealing of these housings is guaranteed by labyrinth seals Whwrw used as anend bearing ( arrangement A ) a closed end cover from grey cast iron is supplied instead of the labyrinth seal for one side.
Alternaively the housins can be used for floating or locating bearings.
Air vents and oil level gauges are supplied with the housings.
The only difference between GOS and GOF housings are there different overall dimensions and the consruction of connecting the upper and lower parts of the housings.
